Ingredients :
- Gongura leaves / Red sorrel leaves -2 cups
- Turmeric-one pinch
- Green chillies-4 chopped
- Tamarind - 1 tsp
- Salt (rocksalt) -1 tsp
- Onion peeled -1 cup* chopped into small
- Red chillies -2
- Curry leaves- 4-5 in number
- Mustard-1 tbsp
- Urad dhal -2 tbsp
- Sesame seeds -1 tbsp
- Cumin seed-1/2 tbsp
- Asafetida-one pinch
- Oil for fry
Description:
- Wash gongura leaves, fry in a pan with green chillies and onion in little oil .
- Add some turmeric close the pan with a lid, cook for a while .
- Grind mixture well with tamarind and salt as per taste.
- Season the mixture with Red chillies,Curry leaves,Mustard ,Urad dhal,Sesame seeds,Cumin seed,Onions and add asafetida at end.
Tasty Gongura pachadi is ready to serve with Rice and Chapatti.. !!!
